About Calvary Chapel of the Triad
Welcome!
Welcome to Calvary Chapel of the Triad! It is our supreme desire to see our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, glorified and to be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are a non-denominational group of believers who are committed to teaching of the Word of God, to loving the saints and are passionate about reaching a lost and dying world with the Gospel. We are affiliated with Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa with Pastor Chuck Smith.
The Bible
We corporately study the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter. Pastor David teaches through the New Testament on Sunday mornings and the Old Testament on Thursday nights noting the application of the scriptures to our lives.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible Word of God. We believe that the Bible we have today is an accurate account of the writings of the men who were inspired by the Spirit of God. Our commitment is to study the entire Bible, trusting that God will thoroughly teach us and help us through every issue we face in life.
Worship
We believe that God is worthy of worship and should therefore be exalted in the congregation. A time of corporate praise and worship takes place at every service at Calvary Chapel. Our worship is contemporary, relevant and focused on the Lord. We incorporate multi-media tastefully into the service. We encourage all to join in the exalting of God in sincere Spirit-led and Bible-based worship.
Children
The Children's ministry is an exciting part of what God is doing here at Calvary Chapel! With Bible-based curriculum and hands-on activities and crafts, the kids at Calvary Chapel are having a great time being taught the scriptures. Reaching a child for Jesus is a blessed opportunity. We believe we have an important part in aiding parents as they train up their child in the ways of the Lord (Proverbs 22:6). With this in mind, we have prayerfully built a ministry designed to reach children for Christ in a format they can enjoy. Their classes (for age birth through 11yrs.) take place at the same time the parents and the older children are being taught the Word of God in the sanctuary.
Youth
The Junior and Senior High School youth group, ONE eighty, meets at the church for bible study, fellowship, and contemporary worship. Please visit the ONE eighty home page for meeting times.
Membership
We do not have a formal membership process. We believe that when a person has truly accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, they are automatically made a member of the body of Christ. All are welcome to fellowship with us (1 Corinthians 12: 12-14).
We praise God that He is doing such a mighty work here! People are being saved. People are having their faith and walk with the Lord renewed, their marriages healed. It is glorious and it is the Lord. We look forward to seeing what He will do in the future. We invite you to take part in this exciting time and see what God can do in your life, family and community.
God's Word with God's Spirit changing God's people. It's just that simple.
